Overview:
How tRNA molecules interpret a degenerate genetic code and select the correct amino acid tRNA molecule is actually aqueous molecules in the cells, they has nucleic acid information, protein information, they are those key-linked molecules that enable DNA to be turn into protein information Gonna talk about structure: modified bases, functional domains, and they have common fit (common structure that absolutely essential and conserved domain of life that enable them to function in the process of translation of ribosomes ) Also about the degeneracy (redundancy) and variations of the standard genetic code Video The job of this mRNA is to carried the gene message from the DNA out of the nucleus to the ribosomes for production of a particular protein to this gene coded for There can be several million ribosomes in a typical eukaryotic cells This complex catalytic machines uses the mRNA copy of the genetic information to assemble amino acid building block into the three-dimensional protein that are essential for life Lets see how it works?
The ribosome are composed of one large and one small subunit that assemble around the mRNA which then passes through the ribosomes like a computer tape The amino acid building block (small red in video) are carried into the ribosomes attached to a specific transfer RNAse (the green molecule in video) also refer to tRNA The small subunit of the ribosomes positioned the mRNA so that it can be wrap in a group of 3 lotus know as codon Each codon on the mRNA matches the corresponding anticodon on the bases of transfer RNA molecules The larger subunit of ribosomes removes each amino acid and joined them into a growing protein chain As the mRNA is _______ through the ribosomes, the mRNA sequence is translated into an amino acid sequence There are 3 location of sites of ribosomes A site : amino A site P site: peptidyl site E site: exit site The addition of each amino acid is a three-steps cycle First, the tRNA enters the ribosomes at the A site, and this step for codon and anticodon match with the mRNA Next, provided is the correct match, the tRNA is switched to the P site and the amino acid it carries is added to the end of the amino acid chain The mRNA is also _______ it on 3 nucleotides (one codon).
