An advantages to being a lefty is it is easier for them to write backwards or upside-down because right to left is much more natural to left-handers. Another advantage for left handers is in sports. Since most players are right handed, many aren't used to dealing with their opponent being left handed. Lefties are also said to be better at video games. This is because lefties are better at handling large amounts of stimuli, making them better at killing zombies or playing basketball on the wii. Now that we talked about some advantages, lets take a look at the disadvantages. Writing, scissors, pens on chains in banks, that awkward handshake with a right handed person, and sitting next to a right handed person in a restaurant are all things left handers find difficult. Finally, I will talk about some famous left handed people. Two presidents that were left handed were Ronald Reagan, the 40th President and Barrack Obama, the 44th President. Celebrities that were left handed were Prince Williams, Justin Bieber, and Mark Wahlberg. Musicians that were left handed were Jimi Hendrix (who was naturally left handed, but his father tried to force him to play right handed because he though playing left handed was a sign from the devil) Billy Ray Cyrus, and Lady Gaga.Overall, hopefully you can see how much being left-handed effects everyday life.
