My Letter On Why I'm Missed But Why I Can't Come Back - English - Research Paper

481 words - 2 pages

Hi Maddie,
I’m so excited that I found you! I didn’t see your e-mail until after you had already
moved, and we had to do a little detective work to track you down. Thanks so much for
your amazing note. It definitely did make me smile, and I printed it for my “worthwhile
file” of things that remind me why I love teaching on the rough days. It was a true
pleasure to get to be your teacher, and I didn’t want to let this week go by without letting
you know how thankful I am for you. Can I also tell you how much I love the fact that
you’re popping up all over my room lately? First, I thought of you when I changed my
bulletin board at the end of first quarter and saw your name written all over the backs of
the borders. Then, I found a sticky note from you in one of the literature books that you
left last year with a note for a student to give me this year. It made my day! You’re the
best.
I hope that you are enjoying being at Timberland and have been able to reconnect with
your old friends. I also hope that you love your teachers and classes there so that you
don’t go on strike. ;) You are an amazing person and super intelligent (way more than
you ever give yourself credit for), and I hope that you have found people there t...
