Global warmings
The amount of people who think global warming and climate change is a hoax amazes
me. Whether they don’t believe in it because they don’t want to acknowledge it, or because they
simply don’t think it is real and believe the ideas Donald Trump preaches. While I am no expert
on climate change, I do believe that our earth is progressively getting warmer. This time last year
was much colder, as in the 40’s mainly, but now it is mostly 60’s with some days in the 70’s.
Most people don’t see this as a problem because everyone loves warmer weather, but this
concerns me. As a New Englander, I have always been prepared for the cold, and even enjoy the
cold because I am a skier. However, this all makes me wonder what is this global warming going
to do to my ski season? It is going to push all the good skiing weather back and back until
eventually it is in March and April when people don’t have time for snow and winter and expect
spring. We also have the holidays to worry about. We haven’t experienced a White Christmas in
years, quite frankly, I miss it. The concept of the holidays to me includes a, “Winter
