IntroductionOrganizing is part of the four functions of the management. It includes the financial, human, informational, physical, and other resources. In each company, it will have a goal to achieve, in order for us to achieve our goal in our company, organizing is necessary. "Organizing activities include attracting people to the organization, specifying job responsibilities, grouping jobs into work units, marshaling and allocating resources, and creating conditions so that people and things work together to achieve maximum success." Also in a company, the office supplies and inventory are very important, too. For example, in my company, after our sales representatives activated the services for the customers, they need to print out the contract for the customers to sign. If there is not enough ink in the printer or short for the printer papers, then we might not let the customers to sign the contract, then it will have a chance for the customers to break the contract without any penalty, then we will lose money. Another example on the inventory for my company, if we don't monitor and keep ordering the cellular phones and accessories, we might have the chances to losing customers by having not enough phones for the customers to choose. So organize as well as in the physical assets in the organization, it will help the company to grow up.Organizing relates to the Human ResourceEmployees are the basic level of the structure in the organization. And also it is one of the influential internal factors for the company. So organize the human resource as well as we can, it also will help our organization developing. How can we organize the human resource well? Communication is one of the ways.Communication can help the management to understand and know the staffs. In my company, I am the general manager of the sale's department. Under me, there are five store managers, and I will keep having one meeting with them in each week at least. Also I do require each store manager should have also one meeting for their staffs each week. Besides the meeting of each week, I will have a dinner party every three months with all the store managers and their staffs. Those meetings and dinner parties can help me to have a chance to communicate with all my employees. Within those meetings and parties, I can get to know my staffs' personalities and skills. As long as I know their personalities and skills well, I can organize them in different positions to produce a fully marked effect. When they can have an apposite position to demonstrate their skills, they will be happy to and work harder for the company. Also the dinner parties for the staffs can encourage our morale and provide a positive working environment for all the employees.Organizing relates to the KnowledgeMy company is an authorize dealer of the wireless service's providers, such as Cingular Wireless; Verizon Wireless; T-Mobile Wireless, etc...
