What is The American Dream
The American Dream! Although a general belief it stays consistent as true. I believe this so called American Dream exists, but only in the hearts of those willing to put effort into their lives. The American dream was created by the pioneers that first set foot on this great country. It was created to inspire and give hope to anyone that may have a chance to become a part of this nation. It was made as a sort of marketing in a manner. It definitely did inspire many successful people, and it continues to inspire me.
When the pilgrims began to civilize America, they had one extraordinary belief which unfolds into the American Dream. This concept was also known as “Manifest Destiny”. This terms was made to explain the process of taking over from coast to coast, east to west. This belief is what motivated the pilgrims to continue striving for success also known as civilization and America as we know it.
But what actually is the American Dream? I believe the American Dream can mean anything, but most definitely to me it means what a person expects to achieve from freedom, liberty and diversity. In America we have countless opportunities, rights, and cultures. With a widespread of diversity there are many markets that satisfy the "melting pot" theory. But how does this relate to the American Dream? It does relate because without diversity we would all be the same. But because of the diversity in America anyone from anywhere has a chance to become successful.
