The Fast And The Furious

1139 words - 5 pages

The Fast and The Furious vs. The Fate of The Furious The Fast and The Furious starts off with Brian O'Conner talking to Mia. Nice little scene until Vince comes into the picture and starts to beat up Brian for bothering Mia for about a week or two straight. In Brian's defense, he just wanted to go out with her, and they eventually did later in the film, and Vince gets mad about it because he was jealous. The Fate of The Furious starts off with Dominic Toretto in Cuba with his "Family" (Which are close friends that he knows and grew up with), and his cousin's car gets towed, but Dominic stops it, and the only way they would drop the car is that they race for it and both of their cars are on the line (Racing for pink slips), and Dominic wins the race but didn't take his car because the respect that was earned was enough for Dominic. The start of both films is different because one is a fight scene, and the other is a race scene, with is more exciting for the audience for the most part.

In The Fast and The Furious, Brian is an undercover cop trying to take down Dominic and his gang (Family) because they have a suspicion that they are the ones hijacking trucks with high-valuable electronics in it. But as soon as they go do their last hijacking job, Vince tries to hijack the car but the trucker comes prepared with a double-barrel shotgun and fought them off. Vince was stuck and dangling on the side of the truck until Brian came in and got him off the truck while the truck was moving at a fast rate. In The Fate of The Furious, Dominic turns his back on his family because Cipher (A terrorist they called her) takes hostage of his son and Elena (The girl he got pregnant). Cipher makes Dominic steal these nuclear launch codes for her, and in return, she gives him his son and Elena, but the complete opposite happens.

Cipher shoots Elena because when Dominic tried taking the launch codes, Letty (His wife) took the case from him, and he had to chase her; when he got her, he acted like he was going to kill her, but he couldn't because that's his wife, and Cipher didn't like that so in return she made a statement by shooting Elena. But eventually, Dominic and his original family & friends fight Cipher and her team to get his son back and be a family once again. The two plots are different because ones trying to stop the hijacking and not let them get hurt, and the other is getting his family back together once and for all.

The purpose of The Fast and Furious movie is to entertain people with illegal street racing and to show that family means everything and that you never turn your back on anyone. The purpose of The Fate of The Furious is to show that even when times are tough, you don't turn your back on your family. Always trust each other even when times are tough throughout the events that are happening.

The audience for these two movies are people who like cars, racing, action, thriller, and adventure if you have to put it with specific peop...
