For society today, women and men all over the world have chose to live together, under the holy matrimony. They are united as a one family and committed to live and love each other forever. However, some marital relationships won’t last till the end. According to the statistics, sixty percent of couples fail to maintain their relationships that they choose to divorce for solving their marital problems. Indeed, if there is no happiness and love in the marriage, why do people bother keeping this relationship going? Although people usually hold negative attitudes towards divorce, there are also good sides for people who choose divorce over marriage. The wife and the husband shouldn’t become someone they are not for the sake of pleasing each other. Everyone has their rights to pursue what they like; and only by living a life like this, each person can be equally happy in this marital relationship. If one must do something he or she does not like merely for maintaining their marriages, then there will be no happiness between them, which will eventually result in divorce.Sometimes people cannot fully understand why and what goods will bring to the people after they divorce. Another article, “Divorce: Is it the Answer?” written by Becky is about her parents getting divorced when she was in the third grade. At first, the author did not know how mad she was about her parents’ divorce until the counseling. However, as years passed by, she began to realize she was glad that her parents had gotten a divorce. In the article, she wrote, "my dad moved out and things were better at home. No more yelling, screaming, anger." (Becky B.) She described that it was hard to explain to other people that divorce was an okay thing. Becky pointed out that "it (divorce) can break apart families and it can be tough on the kids, but sometimes divorce is for the best. If two people cannot get along, they need to separate.
