In 1917 the world saw the biggest change in the social, political, and economic system of Russia. Known as the famous revolution, this event forced Nicholas II to resign and step away from power. This transformed the Russian Empire into the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, "USSR" for short or most commonly known as the Soviet Union. While this happened, the traditional monarchy of Russia was abolished and the world's first known communist state was born. This revolution turned out to be one of the most important changes in the early 20th century. Although the changes in social, political, and economic systems were drastic, not all innovations were positive for the country.
During the Russian Revolution, there were many positive outcomes; one of the most vital events was when the tsarist ideal was let go, and the old regime was replaced by a provisional government. When the Tsar stepped down from power and Vladimir Lenin, founder of the Russian communist party, stepped in and created a completely different perspective of how the country would be run.
