Presently it was noon, searing sun over the head with 45 degrees C, and we were heading towards the Golden Temple. Sunrays were directly hitting my skin. I still had 200 meters to walk, but those steps felt like 10 miles while strolling. Its in Amritsar, Punjab India. Its near the bazar(city). Best know as for the food and the Temple. We reached the temples massive shoe stand, removed our shoes, and stacked them. As we entered our head was covered with a cloth. Then we had our first look at the door and arch of the golden temple. For many seconds my eyes couldn’t move. It was some kind of happiness came as we were close to the temple. It's the most breathtaking uplifting view I have ever come across. The last time I came here I experienced the exact same feeling. The freshness in the air touches my heart and feels like heaven. I forgot about all the heat that was affecting my stomach, and my tired legs. The main temple is covered with pure gold in the center of the rectangular water. It has tremendous entry around. I started walking towards that circumambulating path. The temple is always open for everyone, but they close the temple for 2 hours to cleanup. We started clicking some photos with the great scenery at the back. Each and every corner is so precious. After that, we decided to go toward to the main entry of golden temple.
