Unemployment is a social problem that affects many countries across the world. Due to the changing economic, social, and environmental factors, there have been numerous changes in the rates of employment in various countries of the world. Most people depend on educational outcomes to offer jobs to individuals(Blanchard & Portugal, 2001). Therefore, the education system has been competitive as everyone is trying to be the best at what they do. With regard to this, most organizations have collaborated with learning institutions to ensure that they teach learners the best ways of providing services and being productive in the corporate world. Learning institutions equip learners with the skills and knowledge that they require to get employment in the corporate world. Without the necessary qualifications, it is difficult for the learners to get formal jobs. Some of the situations caused by unemployment within society can be rectified through the incorporation of various strategies. Therefore, the paper will also focus on discussing the recommendations that society should adopt to reduce the level of unemployment and also eliminate other social evils that are a result of unemployment.
