The field of Pharmacy is a very demanding wide open field, filled with diversity, and many available opportunities. I feel that it will be very rewarding and beneficial to my life as well as the lives of others. Although I have always been a nurturing, compassionate, and caring person when it comes to helping others, my sense of direction as to choosing a career path became more definite during my junior year in high school. As I began to further research the career opportunity, I realized that pharmacy didn’t only concern the dispensing of drugs, counting pill, filling prescriptions, and helping to make people feel better.

In addition while going through my health process issue, I also had the personal experience of receiving consultation and counseling from the Pharmacist for the use of the medicine which made me knowledgeable of the medication in its entirety and gave me more assurance of that perspective of the field as well. I definitely felt a sense of care and gained an individual relationship just as I would have from the doctor.
My most admiration and motivation for this field stems from the desire that I have to help other people in their da...
