Although I agree with many people who pursue a master degree in order to obtain a prosperity and recognition in this world, mine was beyond that. I have had enough recognition and have worked for organization that had five hundred staff. I have shown a credible leadership in that organization. During my leadership in that organization, I obtained several credentials of which encouraged me to pursue this MBA program. I used to ask myself "Will I earn more with a graduate qualification?" The answer is not a definite "yes", because it must be admitted that after years in employment remuneration tends to be based on experience and achievement on the job. However, the answer is also not a definite "no" - graduate qualifications do open up new career possibilities and make possible faster advancement. With this in mind, I decided to change my field from humanitarian work to business and high-tech industry, which is very challenging and a competitive field. The shift of field will require skills that are more professional, for instance, business communication, decision-making, marketing strategy and specialization. One main reason of obtaining master degree is to upgrade my current skills and experience through academic research and work with people that have ample experience and skills.Although self-motivation is extremely important, seeking the guidance and the critique of others is essential especially when it comes from your family and your friends.
