Women Rights
The issue regarding women’s rights is not a new one. In the past there were distinctive differences between men and women between their roles in society and their models of behavior. As of today women have the most rights they have ever had but there is still a major difference between a women’s rights and a man’s rights. Women have come a long way to get where they are, but there is still a lot more work needed in order to have equal rights as the men.
Women make 16% less money than their male counterparts. Women in the U.S. working full and part-time make 84% of what their male counterparts earn. In other words, women need to work an extra 40 days a year to make as much as men. World wide women make only 77% of the amount paid to men. This isn’t even the worst of it, black and hispanic women have it even worse.
Black and Hispanic women struggle even more. Black women have to work 19 months to make what a white man makes in a year, and it’s even worse for hispanic women. Sometimes it isn’t even about weather or not you’re male or female, there are a lot of racist people in the world that think they are the superior race and don’t give people like black women or hispanic women a chance and they...
