There once was a haunted mansion in the 1800s. It was the night of Halloween on an abandon road. These three kids were the most daring in the town. There names were Brian, Matt, and Cal. The night of Halloween they went up to the haunted house and stared at it very closely. Brian who was a 13 year old was a funny kid. Cal was a 14 year old who was the class clown and always was in some type of trouble. Michael was a 13 year old who was very nice and quiet. Later, one of the kids had their phone and saw that there was an escaped prisoner loose and the prison was only 2 miles away. The kids ran in the house because they saw helicopters circling the road. They saw a man with a gun in his hand down the road. They thought he was running towards us and he was.
Right when he saw them, the three kids ran into the house for protection. They dashed up to the third floor and hid in a closet. Then Cal realized that he had his phone and tried to cool his mom. Cal’s mom didn’t answer so they knew they were on their own. Then, Michael snatched the phone from Cal and tried to call his mom. But it was too late; the murderer had already entered the mansion. Soon he was dashing up the stairs like a bullet out of a cannon. They didn’t make a single noise while they were in the closet. While they were in the closet they heard hard and loud footsteps walk in front of the closet.
Later the footsteps disappeared and you couldn’t hear them anymore. Brian opened the door as slow as possible and as soft as possible. The coast was clear. They slowly walked down the hall. They saw the man looking outside through the window and the kids ran back to the closet. The man looked back and saw nothing. He walked back looking to see what that noise was. They all were frightened and didn’t know what to do if the murderer opened the door. The murderer opened up every door except the closet door the kids were in. Then the murderer looked out the window and screamed. They heard him sprint to the bedroom of the closet they were in and they were all about to cry.
Then 5 minutes later the police came into the house. The police kept on screaming to get out. Of course the murderer just hid in the bedroom. While the police were saying things, the murderer kept on moving to different spots in the bedroom. Then the police started walking up the stairs armed with weapons because they knew the murderer was armed with weapons. Then the police walked by the room quietly whispering the murderer’s name. Then the door of the bedroom opened and then it was dead silent.
A few seconds later gunshots went off. All you heard was gunshots and broken glass. They were so scared. If they went outside the closet they were dead. Right on the other side of the door they saw a butcher knife fall. Then the gunshots were done. Brian, Cal, and Michael didn’t know if the murderer died but he actually did. They opened up the door and it was clear. They all swore that they would never go into a haunted house while a murderer was in the house ever again. All of the kids ran back to Cal’s house in shock. The kids explained it to their parents and they understood what happened. They went to school the next day and all the kids in there were all shocked that they didn’t get killed. The lesson that they all learned is never be alone in a haunted house the night of Halloween.
