There is a better way.In the Unites States, Texas has accounted for about half of all the executions in 2002. Throughout the history of United States, the number of executions was at its peak during the period between 1935 and 1940. The graph gradually came down but in the recent past, it is again rising. With over 3,700 prisoners sentenced of death as of January 2002 [amnesty.org], death penalty has now become a major concern with a number of organizations (national and international) raising their voice against it. Another important issue about death penalties is the way the prisoner is executed. Since death penalties cannot be banned in a matter of days, these organizations should at least press on an immediate need for giving peaceful deaths to the prisoners. Electrocution is the last thing one can think of.There is a better way. Death penalty should be abolished.
