I was born in a hospital a few blocks away from my house on a cold December morning,
December 7th, 2004. I got my name from my mothers' friend who had passed away not long before I
was born. We're a happy family of four: my mother, father, older sister and I. I don't remember much
of my childhood other than my love for trying new things. My mom said I was a very creative and
active child and that I liked making forts out of boxes and I played outside often.
When I was three, my mom started noticing something strange about my health. During the
day while I was playing, I had a hard time catching my breath. I often woke up many times during
the night from shortness of breath and frequent harsh coughing. She took me to urgent care to see our
primary doctor. He said I had a common cold and prescribed me medication for that. After a few
