How to make authentic Nepalese Chicken curry
I. INTRODUCTION
A. Attention Getter: Show some pictures of authentic foods from Nepal and tell them some interesting facts about Nepalese food culture like most Nepalese use their fingers to eat and using spoons and forks is not common, especially when you are having “Daal Bhat Tarkari” (Lentils, Rice & Curry) which is the staple Nepalese diet. The Nepalese consider that food and eating are all divine and food should be eaten in a joyful manner.
B. Significance: Most people have probably tried cuisine from other parts of the world and they might have liked it. But, mostly people go out to restaurants to try other countries food because they think it’s hard to make foreign cuisines at home as they are not accustomed to the ingredients used and process to make those foods. So, even if they aren’t familiar or don’t cook or have no cooking experience to make foreign cuisines at all , the recipe for authentic Nepalese chicken curry I am going to provide today will be simple and easy that can be made at home. And it will also be a nice treat for yourself as well as your families and friends.
C. Credibility: I grew up eating this dish because my grandma used to make it all the time and whenever I eat this dish it reminds me of my grandma and her love towards our family.
