Field Experience Reflection 2018
Spending the past few weeks in the Second Grade class has been the best weeks of my life. As for me, I am interested in teaching younger children between the Ages of K5-2ND grade versus older elementary students and this experience only confirmed that this is exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life. I absolutely loved spending a couple of hours each day with those students and watching them develop each and every day I spend time with them. However I enjoyed every minute I had with the students and working with them on reading and writing and etc. These 2nd graders bring back memories to when I was around their age and to see how bright some of the students were I was amazed and shock. Their behavior was very good but sometimes they would have their days when their teacher wasn’t around. For example, we went to take them to lunch and we left them while we went to go eat our lunch in the classroom and came back to hear some bad news of the students being loud, getting up out of their seats talking to another class at a different table. So, for my teacher she took specials away from them and let them do work out of packets that she gave me and they knew they were in the wrong and was quiet the whole entire time.
One thing I consistently noticed...
