As for other associations I have every reason to believe that Americans are patriotic people, which is obviously a positive aspect of the nation. The point is that patriotism is presented everywhere, in movies, songs, historical events. Accordingly, when people see a movie of American production there is 90% of chances that the plot will be about saving their country or accomplishing a complicated mission for King and Country. In 1768 John Dickinson wrote a song entitled "The Liberty Song" which is considered as first patriotic song in America. Until now a play list, of the USA citizens can be full of that type of songs. Moreover, the history also shows many situations in which Americans were devoted to their land and ready for sacrifice. During difficult times like wars, tragedies people see American nation which stands by their flag, prays, and hand in hand is ready to do anything for the country, like after 11/9 attack. They stood all together in quietness, united by the tragedy, but as determinated to help each other as it can be ever possible. Shame would be not to mention the most important celebration for all Americans - 4th July, Independence Day. The date is obviously connected with historical event, since in 1776 the USA became an independent country. Every year millions of people celebrate this meaningful date. There are concerts, parades and festivities which in the evening are decorated by a spectacular firework display. Honestly speaking it is beautiful, because people have great time, hence that day became attractive and interesting for them. They feel pride and happiness - in consequence they unify with the USA.As for regards next association I am convinced that America is associated as a technological and cultural power. Some American brands like Windows or Apple can be noticed in every part of the world. What is more, if a person wants to be fashionable, respected, they must have some gadgets from the USA. Every teenager dreams about iPhone or iPod, and what is more, even children at Christmas at the age of 8 have laptops and smartphones from America so the appliances must be really reliable. These are the trends which most of the world blindly follows, but this phenomenon actually has solid grounds. American products guarantee originality, attractive design, modernity, and functionality. A great influence has also people who advertise gadgets. They are beautiful, happy, self-confident and obviously they are an American citizens of the country where everything is possible.
